Learn to draw like yourself

With this interesting article from Will Finn we can learn a lot about how patience and persistence are important for developing our skills.

He points out drawings from different periods of Henry Syverson and Charles Schulz' careers . By comparing drawings with that time distance we can see clearly the evolution that only time and persistence can give us.

Even if you're not into drawing you can transpose those ideas to any field. =)

2007-Sep-24: Goofy is back!
Goofy is back!

His glorious return had already been announced some time ago, and now it's official! =)

The world premiere of the new Goofy short "How to hook up your home theater" was last saturday (sep, 22) at Ottawa International Animation Festival.

It feels that our best wishes were accomplished. Goofy has returned on his best shape, with the classic "How To" series of the 40's and 50's. Jerry Beck, watched the premiere and stated that "How To Hook Up Your Home Theater feels exactly like a contemporary 1949 Goofy cartoon - and I can't pay it any higher compliment than that."

A few months ago, when the production of this new Disney short was announced, they truly had me at the beautiful poster. It was not just an announcement of a new short, but the return of a classic.

Now, a simple question: when will it be available on DVD? =)
